The Yamaha C40 is widely recognized as the benchmark entry-level classical guitar for students and music educators around the world. Crafted with a spruce top and soft nylon strings, it produces a rich, warm tone while staying exceptionally comfortable for beginners who are developing finger strength. Yamaha's strict quality control guarantees stable intonation, low action, and enduring craftsmanship that stands up to daily music lessons.
Details
Nylon strings produce far lower tension than steel strings, drastically reducing fingertip soreness for beginners learning initial chord shapes.
Precision fret placement and neck alignment ensure accurate pitch up and down the fretboard, encouraging proper ear development.
Durable laminates and expert bracing make the guitar resilient to ambient humidity and temperature changes without sacrificing acoustic projection.
